Through play, children learn! At the Greensboro Children’s Museum, we offer a myriad of interactive learning experiences for children of all ages, which contribute to their growth and development. Our tween/teen programs for ages 11-17 are offered through The Cooking School and focus on cooking from scratch using local, seasonal ingredients.

cooking classes

Cooking classes at GCM give children (and adults!) a hands-on experience in the kitchen. Each class is an opportunity for participants to try new foods, learn about where food comes from, and meet friends. Each student receives personal attention and guidance from our knowledgeable instructor during class instruction. All skill levels are welcome!

With the exception of family cooking classes, all paid classes and camps are drop-off programs. Caregivers can wait in the Museum or leave and return for pick-up.

We currently do not have any programs scheduled for ages 11-17. Please join our email list to be alerted when new classes are added.
