Join us most Wednesdays for Wiggle n’ Jam! This Baby + Me music and movement program is full of songs, rhythm, and fun with friends. Together, we’ll support early language development and motor skills through interactive activities. This class is best suited for babies who are sitting or crawling through toddlers, giving them the perfect opportunity to wiggle, groove, and explore alongside their grown-ups. Come join the jam!

Sabai, sabai! Take a trip to Chiang Mai, a small mountain city in Northern Thailand. While here, we will taste a few classic dishes, grinding our own curry paste and discovering leafy green varietals from another continent! *Many of these dishes contain Thai chilies, or Bird’s eye chili, please let us know if you are sensitive to heat and we will adjust so everyone can have a taste.

April 17th – Ramen & Rolls

Students will prepare a comforting bowl of homemade vegetable ramen with rich broth, noodles, and fresh toppings, then master the art of rolling fresh spring rolls. Together, we will practice knife skills, learn how to balance flavors, and discover the ingredients that make these dishes so delicious. At the end of class, everyone will sit down together to enjoy their creations. Perfect for curious cooks and adventurous eaters, this class builds confidence in the kitchen while introducing new flavors and techniques.

May 30th – Chopped: Salad Science Cooking Class

Challenge accepted! Young chefs will test their skills balancing ingredients and use teamwork to create a signature salad dressing in groups. Teams will have a buffet of ingredients to select from and use a formula to construct their salad dressing. Each dressing will compete in a blind tasting and the winning dressing will be tossed with a fresh garden salad made from ingredients in our Edible Schoolyard.

May 25th – Spring Sweets

Celebrate strawberry season in this hands-on baking class! Young chefs will begin with a tasting of freshly prepared local strawberries to explore flavor, texture, and ripeness. Participants will learn foundational baking skills as they mix and bake their own mini cakes, whip fresh cream from scratch, and assemble a beautiful spring strawberry dessert using locally grown berries. Along the way, kids will practice measuring, mixing, and kitchen safety, while celebrating one of the sweetest spring harvests. By the end of class, each child will enjoy their dessert and gain new baking confidence to bring home to their own kitchen.

Celebrate the flavors of spring in this hands-on cooking class featuring seasonal favorites from the garden! Young chefs will be learning three seasonal recipes and lots of cooking and kitchen skills. We’ll be making simple, delicious recipes that are easy to pack and enjoy outdoors. We’ll end the class with our very own picnic in The Edible Schoolyard Garden complete with baskets, blankets, and treats.
