We know when Guilford County Schools are out, it’s hard to find something for your child to do. Sign them up for a day camp at the Miriam P. Brenner Children’s Museum, where they will make themed crafts and play fun, engaging activities all day long!

Cardboard Creatures

Ages 5-7

March 31  |  8:30a-3p

$60 members  |  $65 non-members

The ordinary becomes extraordinary as we turn plain cardboard into fantastical creations! The journey begins with a simple box where great ideas take shape. From there, we’ll roll up our sleeves and get to know the tools we’ll be using to bring these creatures to life. Campers can add unique features like wings, tails, or antennae to make their designs truly one of a kind. Whether they’re crafting a fierce dragon, a dazzling unicorn, or a brand-new species, kids will explore their creativity in a big way.  Get ready to unleash your imagination, think outside the box, and have a roaring good time!

Design with Nature

Ages 8-10

March 31  |  8:30a-3p

$60 members  |  $65 non-members

Inspiration is right outside our doors!  Today, we’ll explore the connections between nature and art as we work together on planning and implementing intentional design practices. Students can then use what they’ve learned to design and construct fairy houses for the Museum’s garden and their very own terrarium to take home.

A snack will be provided. Please pack a water bottle and unrefrigerated lunch.
