Everyone can learn through play! At the Greensboro Children’s Museum, we offer an active schedule of programs designed to provide engaging, hands-on learning opportunities for children of all ages every day. Guests of the Museum can enhance their visit with short-term staff-led activities that spark curiosity, joy, and imagination. story time

Uncover an enchanted forest or live a day in the life of an earthworm. There are limitless adventures and stories at the turn of a page as we jump into a good back! This program is designed to spark imagination and facilitate comprehension skills.

 

art studio

Unleash your creativity as we explore various mediums and techniques. This program nurtures creativity and builds vocabulary.

 

exhibit explorers

Go on an adventure through one of our many exhibits! We’ll play games, solve mysteries or get crafty. We’ll focus on building social skills and educate caregivers on ways to make use of exhibits during self-guided play.

 

get moving

Get your body in motion with us! Whether we’re on our yoga poses or moving to the music, we’ll be physical and active. This program focuses on motor skills and healthy living habits.

Learn and grow with us in our half-acre garden, The Edible Schoolyard. Together, we’ll discover something new in every season. We’ll learn about the world around us and foster a positive attitude toward scientific concepts.

Join us for a grooving good time! Pick up an instrument and join in the beat, or sing along to a favorite song. This program focuses on artistic expression and appreciation.
