Don your best costume and gather friends for Adult Halloween at the Miriam P. Brenner Children’s Museum in downtown Greensboro! It’s almost that frightfully fun time of year, and this season the children’s museum is offering an adult only, 21 and up event with spooky activities, music, a chance to win prizes, and local food and drink vendors from 6:30p-10p, on Thursday, October 19.
Adult Halloween will have multiple ghoulish (and free) activities, including tombstone cornhole, Halloween-themed trivia, abbreviated tarot readings by Lindsey Sydow of Waheyall, pop the balloon for a prize, and more! Greensboro retailer, Reconsidered Goods, is also partnering with the Museum to offer an eerie photo booth and craft station.
Play your best game of trivia to win a gift certificate to Little Brother Brewing, and every hour toss a dart at the Halloween balloon board to see if you are lucky enough to nab four tickets to see “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” at the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts, a stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton in downtown Raleigh, and more!
If you get a little thirsty, Little Brother Brewing will be present to sell beer and wine, such as their ghastly green brew! Afterward, feed your dark soul, by purchasing Korean corn dogs from Astro Dogs food truck, and authentic Cuban delicacies by Havana Flavor.
Adult Halloween has a $10 cover charge, with early registration encouraged. Adults 21 and up only. An ID is required to enter the event at 220 N. Church St., Greensboro, NC 27401.
