Reading expands a child’s vocabulary, entertains them, and enhances their imagination. Through the Little Free Library, the Greensboro Children’s Museum puts hundreds of books into young readers’ hands each year. We need your help to improve literacy skills and spark imagination. Please consider a book donation to the Greensboro Children’s Museum. Your book(s) will go directly to children and families in the community. Here are three ways you can help:
- Purchase a new book at Wonderland Bookshop — Visit Wonderland Bookshop at 409 State Street, Greensboro, NC 27405 and purchase a new children’s book. Drop off your book and show your stamped receipt at the front desk to receive a free admission to the Museum!
- Mail a book directly to the Museum through Amazon — Browse GCM’s wish list or choose to send us your favorite children’s book. You can mail books directly to us at 220 N Church St., Greensboro, NC 27401.
- Bring in your used books — As you’re clearing up your bookshelf, recycle your used books by stocking the Little Free Library directly. Visit the Library in our parking lot and leave your books. You may find books you’d like to take to enjoy as well!
