chemkids national chemistry week kick-off

Let the chemist in you shine as we kick off the American Chemistry Society’s National Chemistry Week! You and your family can participate in hands-on experiments as we partner with NC A&T Chemistry Club students. You can create foggy bubbles with dry ice, build a battery to power a buzzer, make your own dye from bug parts, and much more. Mad Science of Central Carolina will perform chemistry demonstrations at 2p and 3p.

All activities are included with admission. (Museum admission is $5 per person on Sundays.) Participants will receive a free pair of safety goggles, perfect for experimenting at home!
