Research shows the first 2,000 days from the time a baby is born to when a child begins kindergarten is when 85-90% of critical brain development occurs. Children’s earliest experiences determine how their brains are wired; lay the groundwork for future health; and for the foundation for social and emotional skills needed for academic and workplace success. At the Greensboro Children’s Museum, we offer a variety of interactive learning experiences during a child’s most important development years. All programs listed below are led by qualified educators and help children develop cognitive skills, social skills, new vocabulary and more.
creative series (ages 3-5)
We offer 6-week creative series for ages 3-5 . Classes are held on Tuesdays from 3:30p to 4:30p. Led by a qualified instructor, your child will learn fundamental skills that are integral to their growth and development in each class. All series are drop-off programs. Caregivers can wait in the Museum or leave and return for pick-up. Each 6-week series is $72 for nonmembers and $60 for members. Space is limited. Early registration strongly recommended.
